For anyone new here—welcome.

I’m Jurgita, 44, and my life has been full of chapters. I was born in Lithuania and have been building my life in the UK since 2007. I have one precious daughter who has grown into a stunning, intelligent woman who makes me proud every day.

Creativity has been part of me for as long as I can remember—singing, acting, dancing, playing piano, and drawing. Even when life took unexpected turns, art always stayed with me.

Before moving to the UK, I spent seven years teaching music to children, organising events, running clubs, and leading a church choir. After relocating, life changed drastically. I worked in factories and warehouses, and spent nine years as a full-time cleaner. Yet every Saturday I still volunteered as a music teacher at the Lithuanian community school—my weekly reminder of who I am and what I love.

Art as Healing

In April 2019, I had a back surgery. The recovery was long and full of sleepless nights, physical pain, and emotional exhaustion.

But during those long, painful nights, something beautiful began to happen.

I didn’t return to art the way I knew it as a teenager—black-and-white ink drawings. Instead, my heart was unexpectedly pulled toward colour. I began exploring paints, blending shades, experimenting with fluid art techniques, and watching colours flow like they had a life of their own.

I didn’t realise it then, but the Lord’s hand was guiding me, leading me into a new, vibrant way of creating—a way filled with hope and endless possibilities.

Art became my healer.

Art became my comfort.

Art became the way I breathed again.

New Work, New Compassion

After the operation, while rebuilding my strength and life, I began working as a support and care worker with vulnerable adults, children, and people with complex needs.

In that role, I gave my compassion, patience, and creativity freely. I supported people emotionally and practically, often using music, small moments of art, and gentle kindness to bring comfort.

Those years deepened my understanding of how powerful creativity and love can be in healing others.

The Birth of BLISSCOHAN

As my art became brighter and more colourful, I wanted a place to share it.

When I started exploring fluid art and created my first Facebook page, the name BLISSCOHAN was born.

It stands for “Blissful Colourful Handmade” — a reflection of everything my art had become:

Blissful — because creating brought peace into my painful nights

Colourful — because colours became my new language

Handmade — because each piece is made from the heart, one of a kind

BLISSCOHAN became not just a page, but a home for my creative journey.

Growing Into My Calling

As I continued creating, I became a self-taught artist in love with fluid and resin art. I enjoyed making unique home décor and colourful, practical pieces. I also completed commissions made to order.

But in 2023, everything shifted. The Lord began shaping my artistic direction. My work became not only colourful and decorative—it became emotional, meaningful, and spiritual. God started placing inspiration from His word and from His creation deep in my heart.

My purpose became clearer:

to create artwork that uplifts, inspires, comforts, and brings His light into people’s homes and hearts.

Art became my testimony.

My canvas became my ministry.

Where I Am Now

Today, I create as a woman healed and strengthened by faith.

Art to me is more than beauty—it is worship, healing, expression, and connection.

Every artwork I make carries a story.

Every colour holds meaning.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind, just like our journeys.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my art, and for allowing me to share it with you. I hope my artwork brings beauty, warmth, peace, and joy to you, your home, and your loved ones.

With love,

Jurgita
